Lactic Acid
ALLAC Lactic Acid Feed Grade
Introduction
Alzyne Lactic Acid feed grade is an essential ingredient widely utilized in animal nutrition. It serves as a valuable source of energy and promotes optimal growth and development in livestock. By enhancing the digestibility of feed ingredients, lactic acid improves overall feed efficiency, which directly impacts the productivity of animals. Additionally, its acidity helps to inhibit the proliferation of harmful bacteria in the gut, contributing to better gut health and overall performance.
This natural organic acid is particularly beneficial in the diets of ruminants, swine, and poultry. As the demand for sustainable and effective feeding solutions continues to rise, lactic acid feed grade stands out as a reliable component that supports the health and welfare of farm animals while simultaneously fostering sustainable agricultural practices.
With its multifaceted benefits, lactic acid feed grade is a pivotal ingredient in modern animal husbandry.

Functions and Applications
1. Lactic acid is also used as green feed storage agent and forage ripening agent;
2. As growth promoter in pig and poultry feed. Lactic acid can reduce the pH value in the stomach, activate digestive enzymes, improve the ability of amino acid digestion, and is good for the growth of intestinal epithelium. Piglets fed diets containing Acidifiers for several weeks after weaning can gain 15% weight during weaning;
3. Lactic acid inhibits the growth of microorganisms. Suckling piglets will be infected with diseases caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella. Adding lactic acid to the feed can prevent the growth of pathogens in the lower gastrointestinal tract of piglets;
4. Lactic acid can be used as feed preservative and enhance microbial stabilizer of feed, grain and meat processing products by-products;
5. Adding lactic acid to the drinking water of poultry and piglets can effectively inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria and increase the rate of animal weight gain.
